Self Absorbed

When I look at myself in a mirror

I am never impressed and quickly move on

But when I look at the Wilderness

through a similar glassy surface

I am overwhelmed by the myriad colors

shapes and textures

So much so that my feet refuse to move

and I am slowly absorbed by my surroundings
