Needs and Wants

All that other life forms ask of me
is to leave them alone beyond my basic needs
Would I not ask the same of them?
Easier said than done, I know
For I am often unsure where my needs
and wants merge or separate
My biggest fear is that my wants
will so outweigh my needs
that there will be nothing left
to fulfill the needs of others
