What's wrong with the first photo?

That's right...It's not the right momma! In the first photo, there is a double-crested cormorant
hanging out with the youngsters, although it's more perception than reality since there is probably about
10 feet of distance between the cormorant and the chicks. It's unclear to me whether it's a male, female or immature.
But in the second photo, Papa anhinga (black neck) has returned to he and his mate's nest, ready to feed the little buggars!
Is it possible that the cormorant is the babysitter, or just sharing the same condo complex?
